Antonio Carlos de Menezes, was born in Laranjeiras - Rio de Janeiro, and 3 months of age, he moved with his family to Rio de Janeiro. He had his first contact with poultry at twelve years old when he was attending the 6th grade at school in Evangelical Ramos beside the samba school Imperatriz Leopoldinense. He played much ball there, and there was a capoeira called China, who always got into trouble, and beat at all. Then one day, decided to train poultry, not to take more than China, and nobody else.
The first teacher, was a copy of the book without Capoeira Mestre, purchased by his friend Nelson, and together they train the first movement, the hill of German (Ramos - RJ), where Nelson lived. After some time, developed a taste for art and began to watch the wheels of the master Mintirinha the outset identified with the fighting style of his brother, Paulo dos Santos, who started their classes in male club.
They had no money to pay for the academy, joined copper, lead, old bottles, newspaper, and sold, getting enough money to pay 3 months of tuition in advance. As it was rare at the time, Paulão thought the boys were rich thus the nickname of Count and Bourgeois.

Master Bourgeois, after going through many difficulties such as cold, hunger, financial difficulties, prejudice and discrimination, overcame many obstacles and gradually install and secure a Group Muzenza in southern Brazil.
He founded the Federation Paranaense de Capoeira in 1985, was one of the founders of the Brazilian Confederation of Capoeira in 1992, he founded and is president of the Superliga Brasileira de Capoeira in 1998 published the book The study of Capoeira, in 1978 published the book of Songs Capoeira in 1982.
